Sentinel 1/4 HP Rotary Vane Complete Pond Aeration System for  Ponds up to 2 Acres features a Stratus Rotary Vane air compressor and is designed specifically for aeration of ponds up to two acres.

Rotary Vane compressor systems are designed for maximum air delivery in shallower bodies of water, up to 2.2 cfm of airflow per diffuser.  The compressor will operate up to a water depth of 18′.

• 22″ Lockable Steel Cabinet with Cooling Fan
• 2 QS2 Double Membrane Air Diffusers
• 200′ of 1/2″Quick Sink Tubing

The shore mounted rotary vane compressor sends air through self-sinking tubing to the bottom mounted diffuser for safe and effective aeration.  The stream of bubbles rising from the diffuser creates a large circulation pattern in your pond, bringing low oxygen water to the surface where it comes in contact with atmospheric oxygen.  This circulation releases gasses that can be harmful to your fish and infuses your water with life-giving oxygen.

Diffused pond aeration is an excellent way to maintain pond health in warm weather as well as winter.  Winter operation of a pond aeration system helps to prevent winter-kill by maintaining open water for oxygen transfer and preventing the build-up of harmful gasses below the ice.
