Description

Clipper Herbicide controls submersed aquatic weeds by subsurface application and floating and emergent weeds when applied as a spray to exposed foliage.

Convenient 5 pound granular product is mixed with water to make a spray.

Floating and Emerged Weeds Using Surface Application:

• Alligator Weed
• Frog’s-bit
• Water Fern
• Water Lettuce
• Water Pennywort
• Filamentous Algae (Pithophora & Cladophora)

Submersed and Floating Weeds Controlled by Subsurface Application:

• Coontail
• Duckweed
• Fanwort
• Hydrilla
• Southern Naiad
• Pondweed Family (Curlyleaf, Illinois, Sago, Variable Leaf)
• Water Fern
• Water Lettuce
• Watermeal
• Eurasian Watermilfoil
• Variable-Leaf Watermilfoil

Application Rates:

Surface Application: 6-12 ounces of formulated product per surface acre (mix with sufficient water to ensure coverage)

Subsurface Application: 0.53 – 2.1 pounds per acre-foot depending on species.

Water Use Restrictions:

• 5 day water use restriction for irrigation
• no restriction for drinking, fishing or swimming
