The Sentinel 1/4 HP Pond Aeration System  for Small Oblong Ponds  up to 1 Acre features a Stratus SRC Gen 2  rocking piston air compressor and is designed specifically for aeration of ponds up to one acre that are elongated or irregular in shape.

Complete Kit Contains:

• 1/4 HP Stratus SRC Gen 2 Compressor, 2 Year Warranty
• 22″ Lockable Steel Cabinet with Cooling Fan
• 2 QS1 Single Membrane Air Diffusers
• Order Quick Sink Tubing Separately to allow for custom installation

The compressor will operate up to a water depth of 50′.

The shore mounted compressor sends air through self-sinking tubing to two bottom mounted diffusers for safe and effective aeration.  The streams of bubbles rising from the diffusers create a large circulation pattern in your pond, bringing low oxygen water to the surface where it comes in contact with atmospheric oxygen.  This circulation releases gasses that can be harmful to your fish and infuses your water with life-giving oxygen.

Diffused pond aeration is an excellent way to maintain pond health in warm weather as well as winter.  Winter operation of a pond aeration system helps to prevent winter-kill by maintaining open water for oxygen transfer and preventing the build-up of harmful gasses below the ice.
